Hello everyone! I’m filling in for Karen this week (I know it’s heart breaking) but I’ll try to make Karen proud! Anyway, this week Annie and Reva are captured while trying to deploy surveillance cameras in Belarus. I was surprised to see Annie and Reva working together on a mission. In the last episode, I got the feeling they didn’t really like each other.

This week, we see that excellent chemistry between Auggie and Annie. Auggie tries to hide his worried looks when he finds out that Annie has been captured but we see that he cares for her deeply. One thing that didn’t really surprise me this week was Jai interviewing for another job. I feel like Joan is always against him in every episode so I can see why he is exploring other options.

When Joan finds out that Annie and Reva have been captured, we see a side of her that I have never seen. You can see in her face that she is very worried about Annie and Reva. She begrudgingly calls Jai and sends him off the books to extract Annie and Reva. I’m glad that Joan is finally letting Jai out into the field but she had no other choice. I still think he is up to no good and I think Joan sees that as well.

Now we turn to Danielle, Annie’s sister. We never see much of her but in this episode, we see a good amount of her. Is that a good or bad thing for Annie? Danielle finds Annie’s actual passport and she panics because Annie was supposed to go out of the country for her fake Smithsonian job. She starts to snoop around and of course, Auggie finds out that she is and is able to save the day once again! He always has Annie’s back and I think that will never change. I’m still worried about Danielle though. I think eventually, Annie’s excuses are going to quit working and Danielle will become suspicious. A lot could happen if Danielle finds out about Annie’s real job and I think in this episode, we start to see that.

Back to Annie and Reva, Annie as usual, comes up with a quick plan and gets away from the secret police. Joan is about to have a stroke dealing with the state department trying to get the ransom money together. The secret police have a ransom for Annie and Reva but Joan doesn’t know they have escaped. Jai comes through with the news that they have escaped. In the process, Reva breaks her leg but we see that she is stronger than she acts and she is able to make it until Jai comes and rescues both of them.

This was a solid episode in my opinion. I wouldn’t say it was the best but we saw a lot more of Jai than we ever have and we saw Joan show a little emotion. Just a little though. I still can’t decide if I like Jai or not but this week, I liked him. Of course, my favorite is Joan and we saw a good amount of her so I was excited over that. We didn’t see too much of Auggie so I know Karen is disappointed but next week she should be satisfied with the amount of Auggie.

How did you like it? Do you like to see more Joan or Jai? Leave me a comment, email, or tweet me @TTCWill. Give me your two cents.
