With two dancers set to go home, the top 20 perform again tonight…this time though with new partners as they mix up the pairs bringing some interesting performances.

Let’s look at the top three dances of the week with their new partners!

3. Tanisha and Rudy- Jazz Performance choreographed by Sonya Tayeh

The first performance of the night and the pair definitely brought it, showing off all of the angst and aggression they were looking for in the performance. It was definitely an enjoyable way to start off the night.

2. Emily and Teddy- Hip hop performance choreographed by Dave Scott

With the pair and the choice of music (“Don’t” by Ed Sheerhan) and dance, it definitely made for a fun combination and you could tell the pair was having fun with it. Although, I wish I had seen more of it.

1.Carly and Serge- Contemporary Performance choreographed by Sonya Tayeh

I’m always a sucker for a good contemporary performance and this one was done so nicely and definitely was my favorite of the night. The chemistry and emotion between the two was great and add that with the choreography from Sonya Tayeh, it made for a winning combination.

At the end of the night after two hours of dancing and interesting critiques, the two dancers to go home tonight were Nick and Malene. So, there you have it.

Jules will be back next week with the regular SYTYCD recap but, hope you enjoyed my top three picks! What were yours? Who gets your votes for tonight? Did you think the right dancers were eliminated tonight? Share your TwoCents below!
