Actor Bill Paxton died yesterday, February 25, at the age of 61 due to complications from surgery.
For five seasons from 2006-2011, Paxton starred on HBO’s Big Love as polygamist Bill Henrickson. In 2012, he appeared in the mini-series Hatfields & McCoys, for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award and in 2014 had a recurring role in ABC’s Agents of SHIELD. Currently Paxton was starring in CBS’ adaption of Training Day as Detective Frank Roarke.
Paxton will also be remembered for his big screen roles, most memorably in The Terminator, Aliens, True Lies, Apollo 13, Twister and Titanic.
