Farewell…Christine Cavanaugh


Voice Actress Christine Cavanaugh passed away in Utah home on December 22 of undisclosed causes, according to Deadline. She was 51.

Cavanaugh began her voice acting work in the late 80s and has spanned two decades. She has voiced many beloved animated characters in both film and television including Goslyn Mallard on Darkwing Duck, Oblina on Aaah!! Real Monsters, Dexter on Dexter’s Laboratory, and the first to voice Chuckie Finster on Rugrats and the movies until she retired from voice acting in 2001 when Nancy Cartwright took over.

Farewell, Ms. Cavanaugh and thank you for voicing some wonderful animated characters that will remain in the memory of many.
