Hollywood has lost another legend.
Debbie Reynolds passed away Wednesday, just one day after the tragic loss of her daughter Carrie Fisher. She was 84 years old.
The actress who began her career with the film The Daughter of Rosie O’Grady. She later got the role of Kathy Seldon in Singing in the Rain, a movie that would become a classic. Her illustrious career spans the big screen as well as the small screen, as later generations not only get to know Reynolds as Kathy but also as Aggie Cromwell in Halloweentown and Grace Adler’s mother, Bobbie, on Will & Grace.
Her later credits also include Kiki’s Delivery Service as well as lending her voice to Charlotte the spider for the animated adaptation of the beloved children’s classic, Charlotte’s Web.
In every role she assumed, she brought an enthusiasm and charisma to the screen, that has endeared and delighted many over the years.
Rest in peace, Ms. Reynolds. You will be sorely missed.
