Fox Announces 2017 – 2018 Fall Schedule

Fox has announced the 2017-2018 Fall schedule and will be shifting quite a few series. 

Kicking off the week, Lucifer will be heading to the Monday 8 p.m time slot and will be serving as the lead-in to the new Marvel series, The Gifted. Lethal Weapon will be moving to Tuesdays at 8 p.m and serve as a lead-in to an hour of comedy with the The Mick at 9 p.m and Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 9:30. While Empire and Star will be taking Wednesday nights for their 18-episode seasons with a midseason break.

What shows will be heading to the midseason? New series L.A. to Vegas, 9-1-1, and The Resident as well as the final season of New Girl.

The X-Files will be starting its run of new episodes in 2018.

When asked about the fates of Scream Queens, 24:Legacy, and Prison Break, it was confirmed that Scream Queens is done at Fox and the network would be open to more 24: Legacy and Prison Break but there are no current plans for more.

  • I had been eager to see a tv version of GalaxyQuest, but they decided not to go ahead with that. Orville appears to be something similar, so I’ll give it a shot. Though, making it a Thursday show sounds like Fox is asking a lot.
