Fox Renews ‘The Simpsons’ For Season 29 and 30

The Simpsons will be surpassing Gunsmoke in a big way.

Fox has renewed the animated series for an unprecedented 29th and 30th season. This renewal puts The Simpsons at 669 episodes, beating out Gunsmoke’s 635.

The series recently crossed the milestone 600th episode.
