EVERY Thursday night for the last 8 years, the boys have joined at Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment to break bread, and share laughter, and it was good. Until one Thursday night… everything changed. *crash of thunder*

Leonard decides to go over to Raj’s apartment to have dinner with him, Priya, and Raj. Sheldon is flummoxed by this turn of events, insisting that changing their routine makes about as much sense as removing the letter ‘m’ from their speech. Which is just oronic adness!

It gets worse. Over at Raj’s, there’s alcohol (gasp!) and bare feet (scream!) and all sorts of other horrors. Sheldon goes over to the Cheesecake Factory and tries to have a heart-to-heart with Penny. Well, as much as he can. Amy video-calls and joins in, telling Sheldon that he needs to realize that Leonard is the center of the group, not him. She also tells Penny she’s too needy.

When Leonard plans another night at Raj’s, Sheldon organizes a new social group: Stuart, Barry Kripke, Penny’s ex Zack, and Levar Burton (Sheldon tweeted him). After saying a somewhat bittersweet “goodbye” to Leonard, Sheldon greets his new friends. It is TOO weird seeing Sheldon be the social leader! During the icebreaker, Stuart reveals he’s living in his store and came to take a shower, Zack can’t remember more than his name, and Barry’s there because he was promised a raffle. Sheldon wants them to play old video games, but the new gang wants to hear Zack’s sex stories and sing drunk karaoke.

Back at Raj’s, the boys are talking about how Sheldon got punched by Bill Gates once, and how he always tells them the origin of drink toasting when they do it. They finally realize… they actually miss him! They tell Priya some funny Sheldon stories until they hear three knocks on the door. “All my friends… all my friends… all my friends.” Awww!

In some side bits, Amy and Bernadette show up to take Penny out dancing, but we don’t see them go out. She gets sad looking at the North Pole snowflake Leonard got her, so presumably she’s off to get “distracted”. And in the little end bit – LeVar Burton shows up at the apartment! πŸ™‚

Ok, show of hands, who else would like to see that “new” social group get together again? Love it! Why the heck doesn’t Zack have anything better to do though!? Also, we’ve got some more Priya now – any new opinions? And most importantly – is LeVar Burton going to be the new Betty White? Give me your TwoCents!

Best Lines
Priya: There are no assigned seats, Sheldon, just sit anywhere! Make yourself comfortable!
Sheldon: Oh, what fun! We’re like hippies at a love-in.
Leonard: Just sit here.
Sheldon: Right on, man, right on.

Priya: Do you want a margarita, Sheldon?
Sheldon (panicked): A margarita? Where are we? What is happening?!

Amy (to Penny, via video call): From this angle, I can see up your nose.
Penny: It’s a great time to be alive, isn’t it?
Sheldon: Don’t worry, my problems can wait while you two hens finish your clucking!

Raj: Gates gave a speech at the university. Sheldon went up to him afterwards and said, “Maybe if you weren’t so distracted by sick children in Africa, you could’ve put a little more thought into Windows Vista!”

Leonard: Hey, I thought you were with your new buddies.
Sheldon: I had to leave. They were having fun wrong.
